Hidden Expedition: Amazon App Reviews

I have enjoyed other games in the Hidden Expedition series so I thought Id try the very first installment. Amazon bears no resemblance to the other HE games Ive played. It is just a simple HOP game with one HOP after another. Nearly all of the items are identified on a word list, although a few require interaction with your inventory. The graphics and sound track are beautiful, and the journal pages that you collect are extremely witty...but the entertainment ended there. Since I paid for the game, I was going to stick through it until I finished, but after five world maps, the game simply stopped. I was told to visit another world, but none were available. There was literally nothing to do. Thus, after 45 minutes of gameplay, I found myself uninstalling the game and quite unhappy. I cannot recommend buying this game.

I played until it asked me to update to the paid version. Paid. Now....nothing. The screen wont unfreeze. If I start the game over, I get stuck at the same place each time. So...I paid $4 to play about 20 minutes of this dumb game. Save your money....find another game!

Game stuck halfway through. Yes I could reset, but would have to start over. Money wasted! I have the crowbar but it is still showing in the cave. Wont progress because of this

Great HO game, challenging puzzles, but crashes @ level 23. Granted, thats already a longer game then some, but would really like to finish game!

The thing crashes on level 23 right after you finish the Lava and Water Falls screen... Good game tho...

Ive been playing this for a couple of years now! Although I finished the game a long, long time ago, I still enjoy trying to find things quickly and beat my high scores. The scenes are gorgeous and the music makes everything feel so...epic!

Downloaded to new ipad, reached to chapter or level where the pulley is placed. Click to new chapter or level and the application goes to the ipad home page. Deleted and downloaded app and still does the same thing in the same location. Quite frustrating playing levels over again and not able to finish the game. What gives? One star because its just annoying. Also, game was a freebie due to iTunes free offering on this game.

It has been over 4 months now and I continue to get kicked out when I hit chapter 23. I have even started over with the game and once I finish level 23, I get kicked out. Please fix. With all the games big fish has, I hesitate to even try because of this issue. I have echoes of the past and bought the upgrade (4.99- wish i can get my money back) and was kicked out. I cannot go any further on that game either. And that has been about 6 months ago. So buyer beware. Whether its free or not, Big Fish games are not reliable.

Now it crashes and wont let me continue past lava, (level 23?). I was really enjoying it!

The game just ends after New York and congratulates you for beating the game. Big Fish, when are you going to fix this??? It appears as if this has been going on for quite some time. I really enjoyed the game and played it quite often prior to this.

Same problems as others have mentioned REPEATEDLY. Game crashes at the pulley level and will not continue no matter what you try. Really disappointing because its a fun game. I wont download any more Big Fish apps until they fix this.

Was a good game until last ipad update. now I start the game and it stops and kicks me out after several minutes of play

Waited and waited for the update and it still didnt fix the problem Im still stuck in the same spot so frustrating...

Do not download. The games crashes after about level 23. This is after the update to "fix the crashes."I got the game while it was free through the Starbucks App of the Week, but had I paid $4.99 like most seem to have paid, I would be upset. Even for not having paid, it is very frustrating to have it force close. Come developers, looks like this has been going on for months. Fix this!!

Downloaded this app on a whim and my entire family was glued to it for an entire day. We played it on our iPads until we finished the entire game. One of the best apps weve played. More please!

No crashing anymore!! Pipe screen functions for iPhone and iPad were fixed, so no more unexpected shutdowns. Im still baffled by some of the interim puzzles, particularly the monkey hanging, the animal head that gets crushed by the roof and the bugs that are set in a pyramid. Finding the objects is great fun. The diary and letters are amusing. It is really hard to find all of the bonus point beetle bugs. I see some "sparkle spots" on the segment with the gears. One above a red bird and another above a dragonfly on the same screen. Wondering about those spots, so cannot rate higher than 4.

In zooming in the screen flickers -kinda hard on the eyes. I didnt notice this problem before the last update. :(

This is an overall great game, but I came to a place where there is a glitch I can no longer progress and Ive been told that Im not the first one. Other than this problem the game is great but Id really like to progress
